About Us
FROM STRONG ROOTS,
BEAUTIFUL HOMES GROW.

We started White Oak Homes to bring care and connection back into the building process. Our goal isn’t volume—it’s value. For us, each home is a reflection of the family inside, and every build is an opportunity to create something meaningful from the ground up.

Danny Thompson
Owner / General Contractor
Danny Thompson brings nearly two decades of experience in new-home sales and a lifelong connection to the Fayetteville area. Known for his integrity and deep knowledge of the homebuilding process, he has guided hundreds of families through their journey to homeownership. As a top-ranked agent with Coldwell Banker Advantage, Danny earned recognition in the top 0.5% of Fayetteville MLS agents, specializing in new construction.
His expertise in home design, budgeting, and timelines made him a trusted resource for buyers and real estate professionals across Cumberland and surrounding counties. Today, Danny builds on that legacy as a licensed general contractor and co-founder of White Oak Homes of NC, LLC, alongside longtime friend and business partner Rodney Baker. From lot selection to final walkthroughs, Danny brings a hands-on, client-first approach to every home they build.
A U.S. Army veteran and former Fayetteville Police Officer, Danny continues to serve the community through the Fayetteville Home Builders Association as a Board Member, Chair of the annual “Dirt to Door” event, and member of the Governmental Affairs Committee.
Married to his wife Dawn for 33 years, Danny is a proud father, grandfather, and just recently a great grandfather!
